Wrexham secured their first victory of the season with a commanding 3-0 win against Millwall on Thursday. The match took place at The Den, where Wrexham replicated last season’s milestone of achieving their initial win on Millwall’s home ground. The opening goal came when Issa Kabore delivered a cross that deflected off Millwall defender Zak Sturge and found its way past goalkeeper Max Crocombe.

In the second half, Wrexham extended their lead through Kieffer Moore, who scored a well-placed curling shot from around 20 yards out. The Dragons sealed the victory with a third goal in the 69th minute, as Jacques Ekomie converted to make the scoreline 3-0.

Meanwhile, West Bromwich Albion maintained their unbeaten home record with a 1-1 draw against Charlton Athletic at The Hawthorns. West Brom have now gone nine matches without defeat at home. Callum Styles put the Baggies ahead with a powerful half-volley in the 59th minute. However, Charlton responded 10 minutes later when Tyreece Campbell scored an equalizer, denying West Brom a win and halting Charlton’s hopes of returning to the top of the league.

Queens Park Rangers moved level on 10 points with league leaders Swansea City and Charlton after a 2-1 victory over Cardiff City. Cardiff opened the scoring early through Rumarn Burrell, who then added a second for QPR in the 53rd minute. Perry Ng pulled one back for Cardiff in the 74th minute, but QPR held on to secure the win.

Burnley’s struggles continued as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Middlesbrough. Burnley fell behind in the first half to a goal from Aidan Morris. After the interval, Ugo Raghouber scored a curling effort that earned Burnley a point but left the team still without a win this season.
