Yarmouk Volleyball Club has reinforced its roster ahead of the 2026-27 season by signing Cameroonian players Adam Ibrahim and Aba, joining an existing core of experienced local athletes. The Kuwaiti club also added seasoned domestic players including setters Hussein Ashkanani and Mohammed Adel Al-Shammari, outside hitter Mohammed Bash, and libero Hussein Ali, aiming to strengthen multiple positions within the squad.

Preparations for the upcoming season have been underway since early July, with the team engaging in daily intensive training sessions led by national coach Khaled Al-Mutairi. As part of their preseason activities, Yarmouk played their first friendly match against Kazma on Wednesday, seeking to fine-tune their tactics and team cohesion.

Al-Mutairi noted progress in the team’s development, highlighting the positive impact of integrating the new Cameroonian professionals alongside the experienced Kuwaiti players. He emphasized that the current squad combines youth, experience, and ambition, with a coaching focus on enhancing both technical skills and physical conditioning.

Looking ahead, Al-Mutairi expressed optimism that Yarmouk will meet the expectations set by club management and supporters, aiming for a competitive and successful season. The club’s strategic signings and rigorous training regimen reflect its commitment to building a stronger, more resilient team capable of achieving its goals in the forthcoming campaign.
