Yas Island will serve as the central hub for all teams participating in the 2026 Abu Dhabi T10 cricket tournament, which is scheduled to take place at Zayed Cricket Stadium from November 7 to 20. This development follows a newly announced partnership between Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub (ADCSH) and Miral, the developer and operator of Yas Island’s attractions and venues.

Under the terms of the agreement, Yas Island will act as the official experiences partner of the Abu Dhabi T10, hosting a range of key events associated with the tournament, including the Trophy Launch, Opening Party, and Closing Party. Additionally, the island’s facilities will be used to enhance both the operational side of the tournament and the overall experience for players, teams, and spectators.

The 2026 edition of the Abu Dhabi T10 will feature six teams: Arabian Aces, Emirates Eagles, Royal Desert Champions, UAE Bulls, United Tigers, and Yas Lions. The player draft took place at Hilton Abu Dhabi Yas Island, where 108 players were selected across these franchises in preparation for the upcoming competition.

Matthew Boucher, CEO of Abu Dhabi Cricket & Sports Hub and Abu Dhabi T10, highlighted that the partnership with Yas Island would provide an exceptional environment for teams and participants. He noted that the collaboration is expected to enrich the tournament experience, supporting both the logistical needs of the event and promoting Abu Dhabi’s broader offerings to those involved.

Leon Marsh, Director of Events at Miral, emphasized the strategic cooperation between Miral and ADCSH aimed at delivering integrated, immersive experiences for players, fans, and families. Drawing on Yas Island’s extensive leisure, entertainment, and hospitality resources, Miral seeks to contribute to the success of the event and warmly welcome the international cricket community.

The alliance aims to leverage Yas Island’s portfolio of attractions to create a more engaging environment surrounding the tournament, combining sports with entertainment and hospitality. This initiative reflects ongoing efforts to position Abu Dhabi as a leading destination for major sports events while enhancing visitor and participant experiences.
