A man involved in a gangland dispute in Middlesbrough used a stolen tractor to crash into a rival’s family home, causing extensive damage but no injuries. Nathan Blagg, 28, deliberately drove a Massey Ferguson tractor, still attached to a hay baler, into a terraced house on May 9 after stealing the vehicle from nearby Kirklevington.

The incident was linked to an ongoing feud between Blagg and Luke Lancaster, 31, who had previously been filmed desecrating the graves of Blagg’s father and brother. Earlier in the conflict, Lancaster had also run Blagg over with an Audi. Judge Paul Reid, presiding at Teesside Crown Court, noted that Blagg drove the tractor at speed on the wrong side of the road before crashing it into the property.

No one was inside the house at the time of the attack. However, the owner told the court that the series of violent incidents had severely impacted her sense of safety. “Each noise I hear, I’m constantly thinking the worst,” she said.

Blagg, a Middlesbrough resident, later crashed a stolen Jaguar and pleaded guilty to charges including aggravated vehicle taking, criminal damage, and driving while disqualified. He was sentenced to seven years and two months in prison.
