Three youths who escaped from custody and stole a minibus from a disability services provider remain at large three days after the incident. Northern Territory Corrections confirmed that the youths absconded from the Barkly youth bail facility in Tennant Creek on July 1 and have not yet been apprehended.

According to reports, the individuals entered the premises of Bluegum Ability Services, an NDIS provider located on Kittle Street. They reportedly broke into a community access minibus and drove the vehicle through a rear corrugated iron fence to facilitate their escape.

Authorities continue to search for the youths, emphasizing the ongoing risk posed by their flight. No further details about their identities or motives have been released. The incident has raised concerns about security measures at the facility and the safety of vulnerable service users in the community.
