Jockey Zac Lloyd will be absent from the upcoming Missile Stakes meeting on Saturday following a suspension incurred during the Kensington program last Wednesday. As a result, Lloyd will not participate in the first Group 1 race of the new season, the Winx Stakes, scheduled for August 22.

Lloyd's absence from the Winx Stakes, however, is attributed to a different commitment. He has been selected to join Damian Lane in the World All-Star Jockeys event in Japan. The competition is a points-based series featuring 14 top local and international riders and has historically been won by some of the most renowned jockeys in the sport.

Expressing his enthusiasm, Lloyd described the invitation to compete in Japan as a significant honor. His participation in the event underscores his standing as a leading rider and highlights the global reach of the upcoming races.

The Missile Stakes meeting will proceed without Lloyd, who remains a key figure in Australian racing as he prepares for the international challenge ahead.
