Zain Kuwait has introduced a new home Internet solution that integrates its Outdoor 5G Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) router with the eero Pro 7 mesh Wi-Fi 7 system, aiming to enhance connectivity and performance in challenging indoor environments. The offering, launched in July 2026, targets households experiencing weak indoor coverage, unstable Internet connections, or Wi-Fi disruptions caused by factors such as home size, layout, and construction materials.
The solution captures the 5G signal from outside the residence via the Zain Outdoor 5G CPE router and distributes it indoors through the eero Pro 7 mesh system, designed to provide a more reliable and consistent whole-home network experience. This setup is particularly suited for large villas, basements, distant rooms, and areas where concrete walls or insulation may impede traditional Wi-Fi signals.
Addressing the needs of modern digital households, the combined system supports a range of activities, including 4K streaming, cloud gaming, remote work, online learning, video calls, and smart home device connectivity. The deployment is especially relevant for residents in newly developed areas such as Al-Mutlaa, where structural and locational challenges often affect network stability.
The eero Pro 7 router, developed by Amazon’s eero division in partnership with Zain, is a tri-band Wi-Fi 7 device capable of delivering wireless speeds up to 3.9 Gbps and supporting over 200 connected devices per unit. Its mesh networking technology allows for the extension of coverage throughout multi-level homes through multiple interconnected access points. The system offers flexibility with both wired and wireless configurations to accommodate various home layouts.
This initiative builds on Zain Kuwait’s previous collaboration with eero, reinforcing its portfolio of advanced home Internet solutions. By combining the strengths of Kuwait’s award-winning 5G network with next-generation mesh Wi-Fi, Zain aims to meet increasing consumer demand for high-capacity, dependable Internet in larger residences and complex indoor environments.
