Al-Sahel coach Ali Abdulredha resigned following his team’s 3-2 loss to Tadamon in the seventh round of the Zain Premier League on Sunday. This marks the third coaching departure of the season after Al-Arabi dismissed Croatian coach Goran Sablic and Tadamon parted ways with Bosnian coach Igor Remetic.

Al-Sahel’s defeat was their fourth this season, leaving the team in 10th place with four points. In contrast, Tadamon secured their first victory after six consecutive losses, mounting a comeback to earn all three points.

The match saw an early lead for Al-Sahel when Fadel Al-Sarraf scored in the 11th minute. Tadamon responded before halftime, with Abdulrahman Al-Rashidi equalizing in the 40th minute. Al-Rashidi then gave Tadamon the lead again in the 72nd minute, followed closely by Saud Qasim’s goal in the 75th minute. Although Alain de Souza narrowed the deficit for Al-Sahel in the 87th minute, Tadamon maintained their advantage to complete the comeback.

Elsewhere, Sulaibikhat earned a dramatic 2-2 draw against Salmiya at Al-Sadaqa wa Al-Salam Stadium. Lucas Souza put Sulaibikhat ahead in the 20th minute, but Salmiya’s Mubarak Al-Fanini equalized in stoppage time at the end of the first half (45+6). Salmiya then regained the lead through Tresor in the early moments of the second-half added time, but Abdullah Al-Awadhi’s goal deep into injury time (90+11) secured a point for Sulaibikhat.

The draw moved Salmiya up to fifth place with 10 points, while Sulaibikhat remained near the bottom in 11th place with four points.

The seventh round will conclude on Tuesday with Al-Nasr facing Al-Shabab at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium at 6:45 p.m. Al-Nasr, currently on 12 points, will look to secure a third straight win to continue challenging the league leaders. Al-Shabab, holding seven points, will aim to rebound after a 2-0 loss to Fahaheel in the previous round.
