Zain Kuwait has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the KAFO Forum 2026, a platform aimed at empowering Kuwaiti youth to contribute to the nation’s future development. The announcement came during a gathering at Zain’s Innovation Campus (ZINC) in Shuwaikh, attended by key figures including Faisal Al-Duwaihees, Zain’s Community Partnerships and Youth Empowerment Team Leader, and Dr. Fatima Al-Mousawi, CEO of KAFO.
Scheduled for October 26 at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Cultural Center, this year’s forum carries the theme "From Resilience to Development: Kuwait’s Youth Shaping the Future." It will be held under the patronage of the Minister of State for Youth and Sports, Dr. Tareq Al-Jalahma, and is expected to bring together young leaders, experts, entrepreneurs, and representatives from both the public and private sectors.
Zain’s partnership with KAFO reflects a longstanding dedication to fostering youth engagement and catalyzing innovation and entrepreneurship within Kuwait. By supporting platforms that create avenues for dialogue and collaboration between young talent and industry decision-makers, Zain aims to facilitate the transformation of innovative ideas into practical initiatives that promote sustainable development.
The KAFO Forum features a comprehensive agenda addressing critical topics such as water, energy, and food security; sports, health, and nutrition; empowerment of youth, women, and persons with disabilities; artificial intelligence and cyber resilience; economic development; business continuity; as well as education, arts, and culture.
As part of its involvement, Zain will participate in a panel focusing on artificial intelligence and cyber resilience. The company will share insights on leveraging technological advancements while maintaining robust digital security frameworks. This discussion underscores Zain’s strategic emphasis on accelerating digital transformation and equipping young Kuwaitis with the skills necessary to navigate emerging technologies and defend against evolving cyber threats.
Zain’s engagement builds on a broader collaboration with KAFO, supporting youth-led initiatives that address environmental and developmental challenges. Past projects under this partnership have included the Sustainability Challenge and programs aimed at reducing waste and raising environmental awareness.
Emphasizing youth empowerment beyond education and training, Zain advocates for active participation of young people in creating solutions and influencing decision-making processes. This aligns with Kuwait Vision 2035’s goals of fostering a diversified, knowledge-driven economy rooted in innovation, supported by increased cooperation among the private sector, governmental bodies, and civil society.
The KAFO Forum 2026 will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., featuring panel discussions, keynote speeches, and exhibitions showcasing the platform’s initiatives throughout the year, all designed to enhance youth involvement in shaping Kuwait’s national development.
