Comedian and actor Mohd Razizan Abdul Razak, known professionally as Zizan Razak, has opened up about his past struggles with stage fright, which led him to decline numerous hosting opportunities. The 42-year-old entertainer disclosed that he experienced intense discomfort in crowded places and at public events, although he was uncertain whether these feelings amounted to anxiety or severe worry. Despite his success in the entertainment industry, Zizan said the fears he encountered were not widely known.

“It was difficult for me to go on stage, and people didn’t realize this,” Zizan explained. He suggested that the powerful emotions he encountered during acting might have influenced his personal experiences with apprehension.

In a separate development, Malaysian student Afeef Hamizan Mohd Huzaizi, 20, achieved international recognition by placing third in the 25th World Chinese Language Proficiency Competition for University Students held in China. Afeef showcased his proficiency by delivering three speeches, competing in quizzes, and performing a Mandarin song while playing the guitar. Despite Mandarin not being his primary field of study, he dedicated approximately one year to prepare for the event.

“I first had to compete at the university level in Malaysia before I was eligible to compete overseas,” Afeef noted, underscoring the significance of his accomplishment given the language is not his major.

Meanwhile, in Kota Tinggi, Fadzilah Mislam, 38, is coping with the loss of her husband, Rahim Jamat, 40, who tragically drowned on August 31 after attempting to rescue their youngest child at Pantai Sedili Kecil. Fadzilah, now the sole provider for their four children aged between seven and 15, described the profound impact of losing her spouse and the family's primary source of support. She emphasized the necessity of staying strong for her children during this difficult time.
